"My student visa was declined once before I found Kiwi Pathway. They identified the problem, rebuilt my application, and it was approved in three weeks. Now I'm studying at the University of Auckland!"
"From my daughter's school placement to my own visitor visa, everything was handled in one place. The team explained every step in Chinese, which made a huge difference for our family."
"They planned my whole journey: diploma, post-study work visa, then residence under the Green List. Three years later I'm a permanent resident. Professional and honest from day one."
Most student visa applications are processed within 4–8 weeks, but this varies by season and case complexity. We recommend starting at least 3 months before your intended course start date.
You generally need to show tuition fees plus NZD $20,000 per year for living costs (or $17,000 for school students). We'll advise on acceptable funds evidence for your specific situation.
Most full-time tertiary students can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and full-time during scheduled holidays. Your visa conditions will state your work rights.
A common pathway is: study an eligible qualification → Post-Study Work Visa → skilled employment → residence via the Skilled Migrant Category or Green List. We design your study plan with residence in mind from the start.
In New Zealand it is illegal for anyone to give immigration advice unless they are licensed by the IAA or exempt (e.g. lawyers). A licensed adviser is trained, regulated, and accountable — protecting you from costly mistakes.
Tell us about your plans and we'll get back to you within one business day.
